The Battle of the hair ties!

 Is your hair too thick for the hair ties you've been purchasing over and over and over again?! Are they always snapping while your almost done getting it around your thick hair? Well I found the right ones for you!

My hair is already naturally thick, so I've always had trouble with hair ties breaking. I can just open up a new pack and it breaks right away as I'm using it!

Thanks to Scunci, they have created the perfect hair ties for us curly girls with thick hair! I have been using the same One hair tie for the past week and it's still holding up and looking good as new! That never happens! Within a week, my other hair ties looked as if I was using it for months. Not these!  I can tie it around my hair 3 times without it feeling too tight and feeling like its pulling on my edges. It's also great for those who have a lot of hair and pineapple their hair at night (me). CoCo & Curls Review by Julia

Coco & Curls sent me over a sample of their line of products to review. They also sent me some hot cocoa!!! How sweet are they?! Now these products are 100% Natural and extremely moisturizing!!!! I almost couldn't believe how moisturized my hair was just after using the shampoo. Their products are filled with Shea butter, coconut oil and aloe. These ingredients alone help provide moisture to your hair.

Their moisturizing shampoo is sulfate free and is one of the best shampoos I've ever used. This Shampoo did not strip my hair making it feel dry but it did clean my hair. I felt as if while cleansing, it also kept my hair moisturized. My hair usually tangles and gets matted after using a shampoo. This shampoo didn't do that to my hair. It gets 5 stars!

The Moisturizing Conditioner was also a very moisturizing product. I used this conditioner as a leave in conditioner using the Loc method(liquid, oil, cream.) while it was on my hair with out any other product, I couldn't believe how moisturized my hair felt alone without an oil to seal and a cream on top of that. Can you say amazing! 

After that I used their awesome hair butter! Oh My, I'm in loveeee with this butter. A little goes a long way, trust me. My hair felt like butter. It was light but heavy enough to seal my hair. I used this as my oil in the loc method. Last but not least. 

The hair lotion; I used this as my cream in the loc method. After topping my hair off with that I felt like my hair was complete. It felt so perfect, supple and extremely moisturized. I feel like I can also use the hair lotion alone. It's another Moisturizing product that also helps hold your curls. That's a plus.

Elaine Hair & Body sent me over their Moisture Retention Conditioner and their Pomegranate Mango Butter to review.

I used the Moisture retention conditioner as my co wash and detangling agent. I loved how soft it made my hair feel but it didn't have too much slip. I like tons a slip in my conditioners so I can easily detangle. I was still able to detangle, it just took a lot more time to do it. Other than that, the product was great at providing moisture and my hair was extra shiny from this product. I did try this conditioner as a leave in and I liked it a lot. It kept my hair moisturized for about 6 days. 

Now for the Pomegranate Mango Butter. I love love love this butter. I use it as my cream in the loc method which is liquid, oil, and cream. Using this, helps keep my hair moisturized and maintained for a longer period of time. This butter is also an amazing moisturizer for your skin. I put it on right after I get out the shower and my skin stays moisturized for an entire 24 hrs. If your looking for a moisturizing affordable hair & body butter, than this is perfect for you. 

Overall, I give the Moisture Retention Conditioner a 7. As for the Pomegranate Mango Butter, I give this a 10.

BoldenUsa.com sent me this 100% Natural, Shea oil to review. They have two different scents to choose from which are Butter Mint, and Sweet Vanilla. They also have a unscented one, perfect for those who don't care for scented products. I chose the Sweet Vanilla Shea oil, which smells amazing! I've been using this oil on my hair and body for a little over 3 months and my hair and skin is thanking me! I used the oil to seal my hair after using a leave in conditioner. I also use it in my hot  oil treatments. It seals in moisture so well that I don't have to remoisturize my hair until my next wash day! As for body , as soon as I get out the shower, I will use this on my skin, while wet. It seals in the moisture from the water and my skin stays moisturized all day! Naturally Born Hair Care

Naturally Born sent me three of her 100% Natural products over to review. First, the Hydrolicious Moisturizer. This product was blended with more than 20 natural and organic ingredients which my hair loveeeed! It's a light moisturizer which moisturized my hair so well, that I didn't have to use any other products on my hair! Which never happens. It clumped my curls and defined them. The Buttery Bliss is by far one of the best hair butters I've EVER used! I love love love the scent and my body loves it to. It's a mango butter base and It makes my skin unbelievably soft. I don't have to add any perfume when going out. My hair also loves this product. I use it as my cream in the Loc method( liquid, oil, cream). It seals my hair so well, that I don't have to add anything to my hair until wash day. I also use this product on my FEET. Now that's a huge plus. It works that well! Last but not least , The Curl Brûlée, which is a 100% organic gel. I've never liked hair gel, especially since I've been natural, but this hair gel is by far, the best I've ever used. It works so perfectly for my wash n' go's. This product makes my curls POP!!! It has a great hold while still leaving my hair soft. I've never used a gel that left my hair moisturized like this Gel does. It's definitely a must have. Farasue's Garden

Farasue's Garden was sweet enough to send me two of the most amazing products for my scalp and ends of my hair. Ever since I've been Natural, I've had an itchy scalp. It got worst towards the end of 2014. I didn't understand what was wrong. Right after I'd wash my hair, my scalp would itch. Thanks to Farasue's garden, my itchy scalp is cured!!! Wash day, before I would put any product in my hair, I would massage my scalp with Farasue's Liquid Sunshine. Automatically I felt a difference. That doesn't normally happen, but the ingredients she uses in her products aren't just to perfect your hair but it's also filled with essential oils which are very calming. So using the products on your scalp can help relieve stress and moisturize your scalp at the same time! How can you beat that?! I use the liquid sunshine everytime I co wash my hair. It helps maintain moisture in my scalp until I shampoo and start all over again. Now as for the Ends Butter, it has definitely improved the ends of my hair. My ends do not get as tangled,They are soft and my ends clump so perfectly together! I love how a little goes a long way and it protects my ends from my clothes and helped me retain length. Both of these products are very light and will not weigh your hair down, but are also heavy enough that it will ensure that you won't have to add product everyday. Fro Butter Review

   

Fro Butter is a 100% Organic and Vegan hair butter. So for those who are weary about using products with questionable ingredients, then this product is perfect for you. They have four different ones you can chose from. Peppermint oil which can help heal dry, itchy and flaky scalp. Jamaican Black Castor oil which helps fight thinning and blad spots. Emu oil which aids in rapid hair growth. Last but not least, Fro Butter Baby which can help aid in detangling. I would get all of them if I could, but I would use one at time so I can see the different benefits each of these babies have.  I reviewed the Jamaican Black castor oil one, no I don't have thinning hair or bald spots, I just love my JBCO which aids in hair growth.

I loveeeeee my fro butter! I use it for everything! Even my skin! I use it to seal the Moisture in my hair and that's exactly what it does! It keeps my hair moisturized for an entire week! It Probably would keep my moisturized longer if i didn't wash my hair weekly. My skin also loves this product. My Fro Butter is a life saver during the winter. Also, a little goes a long way so try not to be heavy handed.  This jar will last me a long while. Ecoco Beauty Play n' Stay Edge Control

Ecoco Beauty, the makers of The Infamous Eco Styler Gel was nice enough to send me their edge controls to review. I have been using them for about 6 months now and have no complaints. These edge controls are amazingggggg! They are very very affordable and does the same job, If not better than the other edge controls on the market. These edge controls are boosted with wheat protein and aloe vera which provides a very sleek, shiny and healthy look. They don't dry out your hair and they give you maximum hold. Now that's extremely hard to find in edge controls. It's free of alcohol and doesn't cause ANY flakes or build up. Ecoco Beauty Eco Cocktail Review

 

I was lucky enough to receive this amazing package from the line Ecoco Beauty, which is known for their famous hair gel Eco Styler. Many naturals use Eco Styler gel and love it. I'm definitely one of them. This package contains their Eco natural Cocktail line with Super Fruit Complex. I received their Shampoo, Conditioner, Shine Serum,Curl ń' Styling Styler and 4 different varieties of their Play ń' Stay edge controls. These products contain no alcohol,sulfates,or parabens. Everything has a nice light fruity scent to it. When using the shampoo, it lathered nicely and my hair didn't feel stripped after. I used their conditioner as a leave in which had a good amount of slip and I was able

To detangle my hair with it. I used their shine serum as my oil of choice to seal my hair with. Then I used their curl and styling styler and let it dry over night. These were my results.
