Review: Pink Root Products

These babies right here are from the amazing owner of Pink Root Products which are 100% Natural and made with no harsh chemicals. Now upon me trying these products I was already excited because they are so pink and girly. My hair loved the Curling Cream and the Edge Control.

The Curling Cream Product Claims:
This all natural curling cream is moisture goodness for your curly locks! Made with shea butter, mango butter, grapeseed oil, avacado oil, coconut oil, alkanet root infused olive oil, vegetable glycerin, honey, vitamin e oil, orange essential oil and grapefruit essential oil. All of these ingredients are whipped together to create a super moisturizing curling cream.

Now on everything, this curling cream is life! I swear it gave my curls so much moisture. A little goes a long way as well. You can't use too much of this or your hair will be a bit greasy . That doesn't take away from the product itself because it happened to me and I still loved my hair that day! 

The Edge Control product Claims:
All natural edge control for your curly, or straight, edges! Made with shea butter, beeswax, honey, alkanet root infused olive oil, vitamin e oil, grapseed oil, vegetable glycerin and Non-GMO cornstarch. All of these ingredients are whipped together to create a strong-holding yet soft to the touch, edge control.

Now in my opinion, I liked this edge control for regular day wash in go or pony tail/buns. When I want to really sleek my hair back, I have to use something else because it doesn't hold my hair back enough. It starts getting frizzy after a while but, I still love this product. It's light unlike lots of other edge controls I've used. If your looking for a light edge control, this will be perfect for you.

Review: Deep Steep Products

 

 

The Amazing Company Deep Steep sent me all of these products to review. Look at all the beautiful products I was sent I've! I received 6 shampoos and conditioners, 4 bubble baths, and 1 coconut oil body wash and 1 body butter.

Now this review has to be shortened somehow because there are so many products to review. I will go buy the hair products first. 

Every single one of these Shampoo & Conditioners work tremendously well. They definitely do their job. They smell great, feel great, they lather up well, and I can detangleh my curls with them so you know that they are curly hair approved. Also, let me not forget that a little goes a long way! They only product that I'm done with is the Pineapple & Coconut oil body wash. I loved how much it lathered and it smelled so good. All of these Shampoos & Conditioners all say what their going to do and it actually works. These I keep very close to my heart.

The Bubble baths are my babies! I don't let anyone touch those lol. They make you feel so relaxed and soothed. I've used them every time i took a bath and each time, they worked great! Leaving my skin feeling soft and who doesn't love bubbles?! They aren't harsh for the skin like some bubble baths are. I even used one as a body wash. These bubble baths are versatile. I wasn't going to say but I even washed my hands with it once before and it worked great for that lol. These are just one of a kind.

The Body Wash, as you can see was my favorite because it's all gone! I was so sad on the day of using it lol. I swear I shed a small tear but Thank goodness I can just order it lol. This lathered up well of course and I feel like it cleansed my skin very well. It also smelled great. This has to be one of my fav body washes. 

The Vanilla Coconut Oil Body Butter was my baby! Well it still is because I have some left. After I get out the shower I go right to my arsenal and get this body butter out. Let me tell youuuu how awesome it is. It smells amazing and leaved my skin feeling like butter. This is not the type of butter that we are used to, it's the creamy type so be careful of over using it. You don't need but so much.

Review: Soufflé Of Shea

Soufflé of Shea sent me these two products, Their Hair Nourishing Cream, and a Hair Serum.

The Hair Serum was a great for sealing in moisture for me. I started using it while it was still cold outside and it helps keep the moisture in my hair. During the summer months, I can't put too much on my scalp because my hair will become too oily and because of our own sebum(natural scalp oil) then I'd have to wash my hair again. I've experienced an inch of growth using this, by the way. I love it.

The Nourishing Hair Cream
Was a great cream. I didn't care for the smell too much, but that doesn't mean it didn't work well. It's sealed in my hair like no other. I used the cream and oil in my LOC method (Liquid, Oil, & Cream). I love the LOC method because it keeps my hair so moisturized and these two products did just that. I would deff purchase these two and I'm sure you guys will love the products to.

Review: Poessentails

POEssential sent me this bottle for me to try out for you guys. The bottle itself has directions all up and down it which I loved. It was very informative and worked well for me. Now, because I have such a small bottle and I can't I can't use it for the amount of time that I would like to so I can see if my hair grows from it. Although, I still appreciate the product and I know it works well because I did experience an inch in a half of growth. I'm sure this would be in my arsenal all the time for my hot oil treatments. The Vanilla Cupcake Body Scrub

This Body Scrub is an essential in my skincare regimen as of right now.. It leaves my skin unbelievably soft. It smells good which is a A+ in my book. It gotten rid of my dry skin and left it blemish free after only 2 uses. I give this scrub 100%. 

 It's not hard on your skin like some body scrubs can be. I've actually cut myself while using a body scrub before so be careful and wet your face before hand. This Cupcake Body Scrub is a essential as of right now in my skincare regimen. 

Doll Dust

Main Ingredients: Oats, Kaolin Clay, Coconut Oil, & Other natural oils.

I love this cleanser!!!! I was kind of confused on how to use it but honestly, you use

It just like every other face wash. It didn't dry my skin out. It actually made my skin softer.

It's like an ash as you can see in the photo above. I love the name of it. I wanted to throw it on everyone,

As if it was a real doll dust. That's the kid in me lol. Overall, this face wash was differen yet I loved it. I like switching things up in my regimen anyway. 

The Bright & Tight Facial Cleanser

Major Ingredients: 

Coconut Oil, Aloe, Almond Oil Vitamin C, 

& Other Natural Oils.

This cleanser was one of the best, light cleansers I've ever used!

The smell isn't overbearing and it left my skin looking bright and dewy just like the bottle says.

The only thing that bothered me is that I wish that it had more of a lather to it. When something doesn't or lather enough, in my eyes isn't cleaning enough, but I know that's not the case with this one. I've used tons of facial products that didn't lather but I felt The Bright & Tight Facial cleanser cleanses my skin just right.

Bella Lips Lip Scrub

Major Ingredients: 

Sugar, Lemon, Apricot Oil, Almond Oil, Manuka Honey

This lip scrub is the besttttt! My lips love it. They transformed my lips to be honest with you. Just like the website says, it will get rid of the dead skin on your lips in a day! Not kidding. You guys will love this. It works exactly as it say it does. Now I love having a product that's works like it say it does. My lips are very happy.

The Tumeric Mask

Main Ingredients: 

Turmeric, Chickpea Flour, Honey, Lemon & Other Natural Oils

I lovedddddddddd this mask. I used it the wrong way though lol. I used it all in one use. Smh. What a blonde moment lol. This stuff is strong. I accidentally got a little in my mouth and almost died lol. I'm being dramatic. Since I used this once, I can't give you guys a full on review for it. That's my fault. This mask is deff messy, but it's worth it. It brightened my skin, helped with my under eye bags, and blemishes. Make sure to rinse in the shower like their site says. It's can get pretty messy.

Review: Natural Herbal Approach

  These product riii here boy I tell you. The products are amazing and are your skin. That's a 2 for one. They also smell amazing. Let me tell you about these bad boys right here. 

Ice Cream Soap Bar, Ice Cream Butter Body Butter, Body Spray Lotion, & A Sugar Scrub.

I loved everything down to the little Spray lotion! 

The Ice Cream Soap Bar was amazing. I also loved the scent. It doesn't have an overbearing 

Scent so anyone who doesn't like strong scents won't have a problem with it. It left my skin feeling moisturized and not dry like most soaps. I got good use of it and it lasted pretty long.

The Ice Cream Body Butter I used after I get out the shower and using the Ice Cream Butter Soap. This Body Butter is amazing. It not only smells good but it has some amazing benefits for your body. 

Using Body Butters like these can also help heal scars and make them appear lighter. Body Butters are great for dry skin and also, severed skin issues such ass psoriasis. A little goes a long way so buying this will last you a while. 

. The Body Spray Lotion I adored! It was so cute and smelled like cinnamon. It was very moisturizing. I loved it so much, I wanted another one right away lol. Carrying around cute tube of that lotion was adorable. I've gotten a few compliments because of the lotion and how compact it was lols.

. The Sugar Scrub was a favorite of mines. It smells good and it was light on my skin. My Skin is sensitive skin and most scrubs are harsh for me to use. It keeps me coming back for more lol. You have to leave it on 10-15 mins prior to moisturizing. I have seen improvements with my skin after using this for over a month. Review: Mogi Mousse

The Face Cream

With the Face Cream, a little goes a long way. They were both moisturizing enough so that I didn't have to layer on another face which I would normally have to do when using other face creams.

 I only used The Body Butter on my hands because the Sample Sizes are pretty small.

This Body Butter is a great way for your hands to stay hydrated. Be careful when it gets warm outside though you will have a melted mess lol. A little goes a long way with this as well. I love when products last for awhile so that I can save some money lol.

This soap is a fav of mines out of all the soaps that I've tried. It didn't dry out my skin not one bit. I was actually very upset when I used all of it. :( It Tumeric as the last ingredient which have sooooo many amazing benefits. Look it up when your done reading my review. 

African Black Soap comes right above the Honey Bee Vegan all Natural Soap. I love African Black soap because of its many benefits. It has an abundant of nourishing skin benefits that will leave your skin feeling amazing. it also is a natural exfoliator. so if you skipped exfoliating his week then grab your black soap and get to work. I've always been a huge advocate for prepooing, which is just a "Natural Hair Term" for Pre-Shampooing. Pre-Shampooing/Prepoo (for short) is just using a cheap conditioner and/or oils to pre-condition your hair to help protect it from shampoos. Shampoo strips our hair from its natural sebum(oils) that our scalp produces. Which can make our hair become dry, brittle, and cause breakage. That's why we deep condition after we use shampoo, well, some of us do. I know that it's a must for me. Before I came across this amazing Prepoo For Hair, I just always used a cheap conditioner and an oil such as, Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Olive Oil, or just any oil I have in my hair cabinet. I love that this product is a prepoo in a bottle! You don't have to put 2 or more products together and get all messy, thanks to Prepoo For Hair. This is simple, the directions say to heat the oil in the microwave(I poured it in a small glass bowl to heat it up in) for 10-15 seconds then apply to your hair. I sectioned my hair into 6 twists and applied it starting from my ends, then up to my roots. Lastly, I applied the rest to my scalp. I put a shower cap on my head and let it sit in my hair for 15-30 minutes. I loved how I felt the oil penetrating throughout my hair and scalp. It has a very herbal scent to it that I actually enjoyed. After using this product and shampooing my hair, I can tell that it helped a ton with not letting the shampoo strip my hair of its natural oils. It also helped with loosening knots to help aid in detangling. I would recommend this product to all my fellow naturalistas. I loved this Lip Balm! I can probably say I loved it so much that I overused it lol. There should be no reason as to why I don't still have anymore of this lip balm left. You honestly only have to apply it 2-3 times a day. That's how moisturizing it is for your lips. I am not exaggerating! The moisture that this lip balm provides last around 5 hours. I just enjoyed reapplying it throughout the day. It's a plus that it's organic because when using any type of product on your lips, you're ingesting it. When using these lip balms that you buy from any Rite Aid, Ulta, Walmart, CVS or what have you, has horrible ingredients in them that can harm you. This Lip Balm is affordable and you can use it as much as you want to without it harming you. Just don't use it as much as I did if you want it to last lol. 

Grapefruit & Lime Whipped Body Scrub $15.00

This Body Scrub was unbelievable! Not only did it smell amazing, but it also left my skin feeling soooo soft. I have a tendency of overusing things, but you can't do that with body scrubs. You only need to use it no more than once a week. It has amazing benefits, but too much use can irritate your skin. Also make sure that you wet your face or skin before using any body scrub or else you can hurt yourself. Now, don't get me wrong, this scrub is very gentle and helped with my oily skin just as it said on their website which I will leave down below under this review. Another thing that the description on their site said it will do is energize you're skin after use. Which is amazing when your trying to wake up in the morning. The Grapefruit & Lime help do that, as well as having other amazing benefits. Take some time to look them up. I used this body scrub on my face and lips as well. After using it on my lips, I applied the Lavanilla Lip Balm. It was perfect! My lips loved using this combo together. I'm glad that I still have a few uses out of this product because I enjoyed it a ton. 

The Honey & Bergamont Body Butter $15.00

This Body Butter went pairs perfectly with the Grapefruit & Lime Whipped Body Scrub! It's made with infused oat water, which leaves you with soft silky skin all year long. This Butter has got to be one of my all time favs. A little goes a long way so I don't have to worry about overusing this baby either lol. I accidentally used it as a lip balm and still use it as one today lol. Being that it's made with Organic ingredients and free of harsh additives, you can use it as a lip balm with no worries. My hands loved this product. I also use it on my nail cuticles to moisturize them and help keep them strong. I love products that have multiple purposes!

Review: Thirteen Organics

The Owner of Thirteen Organics sent over their Coffee Scrub Cubes and Blacksoap & Cane Sugar Facial Scrub for me to review. Don't these two products just look amazing?! When I opened up the package, I almost died when I saw them because my skin deff needed the love that I was sure they could give it. I'm not sure if you guys have heard or read the benefits that Coffee Scrub and Black Soap has for your skin. 

Coffee scrub exfoliates, has  inflammatory properties, reduces eye puffiness, improves circulation, temporary reduction of cellulite, helps with varicose veins, psoriasis, smooths skin and so much more. 

Black Soap can prevent the skin from aging, improves skin tone, fades skin discolorations, helps to heal problem skin, helps skin irritations & skin inflammation, deep cleanses, & can be an exfoliant because of the ashes in it. 

My Review 

Coffee Scrub Cubes

I loved this Coffee scrub! This was my first time using a coffee scrub. I've heard so many great things about them and was very interested in trying it so when I was sent this to review for you guys I was so excited. My skin benefited from it extremely. It left it feeling very smooth and hydrated. I use this scrub once a week to help with my problem areas and it also made my skin glow. It's not too harsh and I feel like this can be a staple for me. A little goes a long way. I love how different the coffee scrub is being that it is in cubes. I had to get used to using it in the beginning, but it was easy to get used to. I actually found it kind of fun. I used this product for my face and body, but mainly for my body. When I used this for my face, it helped with the puffiness under my eyes in the morning. 

The Blacksoap and Cane Sugar Facial Scrub

Ingredients: african blacksoap, *saccharum officinarum, aloe barbadensis, moroccan lava clay, fine pumice, activated charcoal, lactobacillus/pumpkin fruit ferment filtrate, *ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, citrus grandis seed extract

This facial scrub was everything! I love Black Soap so having a facial scrub with it as the main ingredient is a plus. It deep cleansed my skin without leaving it dry like most Blacksoap does. I have oily skin on my forehead, nose, and chin and it helped with that and my blackheads as well. This product is very beneficial to those that have acne prone, and oily skin. Anyone can use it, but especially those who have serious skin issues will enjoy this product. I did not use these two products together. I used this product for my face only.

Oatmeal Milk & Honey Cleansing Bar

Ingredients: Sodium Cocoate (From saponified oils) Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut oil), Elaeis Guineensis Oil (Palm oil), Water, Glycerin, Butryospermum parkii) Shea butter, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Theobroma cacao (Cocoa Butter), Avena Sativa (Oats), Stearic Acid (Naturally Derived),  Micas (Color), Fragrance.

This Soap Bar is handcrafted with Shea, Mango, Cocoa Butter, and Whole Grain Oats to aid in exfoliating.

I could not get enough of this Exfoliating Soap Bar. It smells soooo good and I love the way it makes my skin feel. It left my skin feeling unbelievably soft and feeling like new. I love how the soap is soft on one side and the other side is the exfoliating side. It doesn't hurt that the soap is pretty to look at. It is perfect for sensitive skin and I speak from experience. I love soaps that I can use on my face as well as on my body. It's very gentle and a little goes a long way. 

The Cocoa Butter Stick (Natural Cocoa)

Ingredients: Organic Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter (Cocoa Butter), Organic Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Almond Oil), Cera Alba (Beeswax), Organic Coco Nucifera Oil (Coconut Oil), Alpha-tocopherol (Vitamin E). 

I loved how healing this Cocoa Butter stick was. I tend to wash my hands a lot and using this soothes the skin on my hands after I wash them. The scent was okay. I'm not too fond of chocolate scented things, but this wasn't overbearing and it doesn't linger for long. I applied this on my face as well and I could of swore it made my skin glow each time. Another thing I used this for was moisturizing my cuticles. It's perfect for that. A little goes a long way with this product as well.

What I love the most about this Masque is that if I'm getting a blemish, I put a little of this on it and let it sit over night and wah-la, it's gone the next morning! Gawd, I just love it! Review: BUTTERUp Body

I adore Simple Beautiful Packaging. BUTTERUp Body sent me Their Lavender Scented Shea Butter Soufflé and Their Shea Butter, Butter Kisses Lip Balm. Their products are Handmade, Vegan, and Cruelty Free. 

The Shea Butter Soufflé

Ingredients: butyrospermum parkii (Shea Butter), avocado butter, vanilla infused jojoba oil, essential oil blend

It can be used for both your hair and body. I had a great experience with this butter. It helped to retain moisture for both my hair and body. I used it in my hair for the LOC Method (Liquid, Oil, Cream). I love using butters in my hair because they lock in the moisture from water and your hair products so that your hair stays moisturized longer. As for my body, I used it right after I got out the shower while my skin was still wet to lock in the moisture from the water. My hair and skin felt extremely soft after using this amazing Butter. It smelled good and it's worked great! A two for one. You can't beat that. 

The Shea Butter Butter Kisses Lip Butter

Ingredients: Sweet Almond Oil, Carnauba Wax, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Butyrospermum parkii (Shea Butter), Tangerine Essential Oil, and Lemon Essential Oil.

This Lip Butter literally left my lips feeling like butter. They were very very soft, smooth, hydrated, and supple. The moisture that you get from this Lip Balm last at least 4 hours. A+ in my book. I don't wear lipstick much, but for those who wear those drying lip stains, this is the perfect lip balm for you to use as a base or after you scrub your lip stain off and your lips feel irritated.

Review: Bodhi Tree Naturals

Such Beautiful Packaging. So simple yet still so cute and girly. Reka, The Owner of Bodhi Tree Naturals sent these products over for me to review. I received 3 Moisturizers and they all worked extremely well. They smelled great and they moisturized my face without leaving it feeling tight, dry, raw, and burning like most store bought, facial moisturizers that aren't made with 100% natural ingredients do. I noticed an amazing difference in my skin after using these moisturizers. My skin tone looked more evened out, my eyes weren't as puffy in the morning, my face was always smooth, I didn't experience any redness or irritation, and the overall health of my skin changed for the better. 

The Lavender Lip Balm is one of my favorite Lip Balms. I keep it in my purse at all times. It moisturizes my lips so well, that I only have to apply it twice a day! That's astonishing! I am already half way through it and I swear this Lip Balm has changed the health of the skin on my lips for the better. 

The Lavender Deodorant leaves my underarms feeling so smooth, soft and hydrated. This deodorant has an herbal scent to it which I love. I also love that this deodorant isn't made with any harmful ingredients. There aren't many deodorants out there that are made with  100% natural ingredients. 

The Blackhead Eliminating Vinegar Facial Scrub is One of the best Face Scrubs I have ever used! It has some of the most amazing ingredients that have extreme benefits for our skin. Such as Indian Clay, and Apple Cider Vinegar just to name a few. This Scrub definitely did the job of getting rid of blackheads and getting rid of all the dead skin. It left my face feeling The best it has felt in a long time. I'm going to keep this Face Scrub very near and dear to my heart.

Review: Honey Pot Fresh Fem Wash

Honey Pot Fresh Sent Over Two (Normal and Moisture) of their Fem Washes for me to review. 

Honey Pots Fem Washes are enriched with Plant Based Ingredients. They help to balance your pH, support the natural acidity, and it helps to prevent infection from bacteria and yeast. 

I don't have any issues with moisture down there, but I used both The one for Moisture and The Normal One. They both worked great leaving me feeling very fresh and cleansed. I also love how great it smells. It has a foam consistency and it is very convenient to use. 

Being that Honey Pot Fresh is not formulated with harsh chemicals, you don't have to worry about irritation, dryness, infections, unbalanced pH, basically none of the problems that you experience when using soaps that aren't made with natural ingredients. All of these products smelled delightful minus the Unsented Hand and Body Lotion for obvious reasons. 

The Citrus Mint (Peppermint Crème, Lemon Mint, Orange Mint)

This Lotion Stick was amazing! 

It was so moisturizing and fits perfectly inside my purse. I love the citrus scent and the convenience of it. The ingredients are great and they help to nourish and protect your skin. 

The Black Raspberry Vanilla Body Butter 

Ingredients: Distilled water, shea butter, grape seed oil, apricot kernel oil, conditioning emulsifier, arrowroot powder, stearic acid, vegetable glycerin, Optiphen Plus (preservative), Vitamin E, fragrance

I am so in love with the scent of this Body Butter. It certainly smells good enough to eat! It leaves my skin feeling so silky smooth. The moisture that this butter gives me last an entire day. I've received many compliments saying that they love my perfume and asking me what I'm wearing. I really adore this product.  

The Wild Orange and Honey Sugar Scrub

Ingredients: Sugar, sweet almond oil, rice bran oil, coconut oil, grape seed oil, conditioning emulsifier, stearic acid, beeswax, fragrance oil, liquid germal plus (preservative), mica (color)

This right hereeeee..smells like freaking candy! No, now that I'm typing this review I know exactly what it smells like, those Cream Sickle Ice Cream Bars! Yep, that's just what it smells like. Using this brought me back to when I was a child. I love this exfoliant! I applied it once a week to get rid of the dry, rough, dead skin on my face and body. It refreshed and cleansed my skin, leaving it invigorated, soft, and deeply cleansed. Make sure to wet your face and body first before use or else you will hurt yourself. I simply use it in the shower to make things easier.

The Apple Mint Jasmine Sugar Scrub

Ingredients: Sugar, sweet almond oil, rice bran oil, coconut oil, grape seed oil, conditioning emulsifier, stearic acid, beeswax, fragrance oil, liquid germal plus (preservative), mica (color) 

This Body Scrub had by far the best scent I've ever smelled! It was so captivating that I caught myself sniffing it even when I wasn't applying it. I'm so upset that I'm nearly done with it. It worked just as well as the Wild Orange and Honey Sugar Scrub if not better. 

The Bliss Bath Salts 

Ingredients: Dead sea salt, Epsom salt, grape seed oil, essential oils of jasmine, neroli, and roses; Vitamin E oil, fragrance, mica

I so loved soaking my body in the water filled with these bath salts. They smelled amazing and helped me to relax and cool off my nerves. I almost fell asleep because I was so relaxed. It helped alleviate stress from my body and it also helped my aching bones after a long active day. I recommend these Bath Salts to those who desire to relax and unwind after a long, tiring day, or just to relieve some stress.

The Unscented Hand and Body Lotion

Ingredients: Distilled water, apricot kernel oil, grape seed oil, avocado oil, conditioning emulsifier, vegetable glycerin, germal plus (preservative)

This Lotion left my skin feeling very hydrated and soft. I hate when I use lotions that leave my skin feeling greasy, but this lotion didn't do that. I also enjoyed that it is Unscented because sometimes I go around family members that are sensitive to strong scents or I may have a bad headache and I don't want to smell anything strong that may make it worse.
