Ever After Custom Products

Ever After Was kind enough to custom make me these 3 products for me to review. What I love about this company is that, they have you pick your favorite ingredients and they make products just for you. In my eyes, that means, you should enjoy their products no matter what and that's exactly what happened with me. I loved these bad boys! I received 2 oils, one is a Growth Serum which has awesome growth aids such as, Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Tea Tree & Horsetail with a Lavender scent (which I loveeee). The next oil is a Daily Serum which has, Argan, Coconut, and a blend of Lavender and a Grapefruit scent(another fav of mines). Last but not least, they also custom made a Shea Soufflé with Grapefruit scent. Don't these products sound amazingggg?! Well, they were.

I have only been using the Growth Serum for a little over 4 weeks, I have noticed some growth around my edges which is awesome for just 4 weeks. I don't have a problem growing my edges, but who doesn't want more and more baby hairs? I know I do. This also helps with my itchy scalp and calming it when I give myself a scalp massage. I will keep you guys updated with my growth while using this oil.

The Daily Growth Serum is amazing. I use it as a sealant when doing the Loc Method and I also use it on my ends daily. It's softens my ends and makes sure they stay moisturized. I also use this when doing scalp massages and it helps with my itchy scalp as well. I almost can't see myself without this daily serum because I have gotten used to it being a part of my regimen. I love it!

Now, the Shea Soufflé, is my baby! Well was my baby because it's all gone!!! I lovedddddd it so much! I wash my hands very frequently and this helped to moisturize my hands and made sure they didn't become cracked and dry. I couldn't get enough of this Soufflé. I miss it dearly and I'm sure any and everyone would love it. I used it on my hair, hands, body, and feet. It is very versatile and a little does go a long way.

I want to thank Ever After for Custom making these products for me. I loved them and I can't wait to see my hair growth results when I'm done with the Growth Serum.

Novex Hair Care

One of the Original Gangsta's, The Awesome Novex Hair Care sent over  their My Curls Curl Memorizer Line for me to review. I've been seeing their Deep conditioner in stores for many many years. I've also heard great things about it, so when I got the opportunity to try their products, I was extremelyyyy happy.

Product Claims: Curly hair needs a lot of moisture, so Novex mixed 7 nutri functional oils in one product, Olive, Argan, Ojon, Monoi, Coconut, Shea Butter and Moringa. This special mix of oils will bring the curls more hydration, nutrition, a powerful anti-frizz action and a spectacular shine. Cranberry, a small but powerful fruit, also helps shape the curls perfectly while maintaining shine.

Their Product claims are nothing but TRUE!

The Shampoo is Paraben and Salt free. This Shampoo made my hair and scalp feel very refreshed without drying my hair out. My curls were defined once rinsed out and it left my hair feeling strong, shiny, soft and with little to no frizz. My hair didn't feel matted or even somewhat tangled, which is a big plus. I even enjoyed the smell. It didn't leave my hair feeling brittle like some people have said. Remember, everyone's hair is different. What may not work for you may work very well for others and this Shampoo worked great for me.

The Deep Conditioner was the iish! It has a creamy consistency which I loveeeee! You don't need much, so don't overuse it. In my opinion, it's a pretty intense deep conditioner and that's what I love about it. It conditioned my hair so well that, I used it 6 times within an entire month and I'm basically done with it! :( The Deep Conditioner says to leave it on for 10 minutes, but I leave it on for an hour. It works amazingly either way. I just have very thick hair and I like to deep condition my hair to the 10th power. It left my hair soooo soft, manageable, bouncy,  moisturized, detangled, and defined, it also has a great amount of slip for those who love to detangle their hair with a deep conditioner in it like me.

The Leave In Conditioner has a light consistency, but you still don't need a lot. This also has a good amount of slip as well and can be used to detangle your hair. I love the bottle that it comes in because it's very easy to use. You don't have to worry about a pump breaking or a spray bottle not spraying. What was a plus for me is, that I didn't need any extra products. I always do the Loc Method (Liquid, Oil, Cream), but with this leave in conditioner, I didn't need to. My hair was very moisturized after using it and my curls were soft, defined, supple, frizz free, and shiny. This product can be also used daily. I love this leave in conditioner.

Ajaa ' Naturals

The Wonderful Owner of Ajaa' Naturals was kind enough to send over a package with all of these products from the line. The package included:(from right to left)

.Lavender and Honey Coconut
Shampoo
.Herbal Hair Milk
.Hibiscus Silky Leave In Conditioner .Herbal Oil Hair Growth Stimulant .Intense Moisture Cream
.Nourishing Hair Butter
.Honey and Sage Intense Deep Conditioner

These products are free of Parabens, Sulfates, Mineral Oil, Petroleum, and Synthetic Colors.

My Review:

The Lavender and Honey Coconut Shampoo ingredients:

Cocos nucifera (coconut) oil,  Elaeis guineensis (palm) oil,  Ricinus communis (castor) oil, Oryza sativa (rice bran) oil,  Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba),  Persea gratissima (avocado) oil,  Theobroma cacaococoa (cocoa) butter, Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, water,  and Yucca glauca (yucca root) powder, Lavender, Peppermint, Orange, Rosemary Hydroxyethylcellulose. Fragrance

This is one of my favorite Shampoos! It's Sulfate free and doesn't strip my hair of its natural oils. A lot of times, even when a Shampoo says Sulfate free, it doesn't mean that it won't strip your hair and make it feel extremely dry. I didn't have the problem with this Shampoo. It lathers up pretty well and after I rinsed it out, I was left with shiny, soft, frizz free curls. I'm always left with frizzy hair after I shampoo. It was hard to believe that I can experience hair with no frizz after shampooing. My hair also didn't shrink up after rinsing it out to my surprise! This bottle goes a longgggg way. You don't need much when shampooing, so the 8 ounce bottle should last you up to 6 months or more depending on the length of your hair. What a bang for your buck!

The Honey and Sage Intense Deep Conditioner: Infused chamomile water, shea butter, organic coconut oil, organic cocoa butter, honey, avocado oil, aloe barbadensis leaf, grape seed oil, castor oil, organic olive,  oil, (Vitamin E) tocophererol, sage, neem oil seed, behentrimonium methosulfate, cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, sodium stearoyl lactylate, irish moss, xanathan gum, propanediol (naturally derived preservative), ethylexyl glycerin (naturally derived preservative), potassium sorbate (food grade preservative). Fragrance

This Deep Conditioner was as intense as the jar said it is. I used it in 3 different ways, as a leave in conditioner, as a co-wash and as directed, a deep conditioner. When used as a leave in conditioner, it left my curls sooooo defined and moisturized. You would of thought that I used a gel for my curls. They were bouncy, juicy, and I didn't need to re wet or restyle throughout the week. When I used it as a co-wash, I left it in my hair for 6-7 minutes to give it a minor conditioning, then I rinsed it out. My scalp actually felt cleansed and so did my hair, and of course, I was also left with moisturized hair. When I used it as a deep conditioner, once I rinsed it out, my hair felt like I received a very intensive hair treatment. My hair was shiny, soft, bouncy, my curls were popping, and you would of thought that I had already put my leave in and styler in my hair. I truly enjoyed this deep conditioner. It has to be another favorite of mines.

The Hibiscus Silky Leave In Conditioner (could not find the ingredients) was my least favorite. I lovedddd the smell, it also left my hair extremely shiny. The issue that I had with it is, after a few days, it left my hair very dry and a little tangled. I came to the conclusion that it may work better with others because everyone has different hair. What I do use it as is a curl refresher and it works great for that. I just can't use it as directed. I need to use a heavier leave in conditioner.

The Herbal Hair Milk Ingredients:  organic chamomile and yucca infused water, organic babassu butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, behentrimonium methosulfate, cetearyl alcohol, organic extra virgin olive oil, wildharvested apricot kernel oil, castor oil, pumpkin oil, macadamia oil, jojoba oil, organic glycerin, silk amino acids, hydrolyzed oat protein, glyceryl stearate, sodium stearyl lactylate, panthenol DL, aloe juice, akyl benzoate, Vitamin E acetate, rosemary seed extract, thyme, sage, lemon grass, lavender, vitamin C, vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, propanediol (naturally derived preservative), ethylexyl glycerin (naturally derived preservative), potassium sorbate (food grade preservative). Fragrance

The Herbal Hair Milk was kind of new for me. I have never tried any products that say hair milk, so I was excited to try this product. It is very lightweight for those who don't like heavy products. After using it, it left my hair silky, smooth, defined, and not weighed down. Another thing that I love about this product is that when re applying it later on in the week, it didn't give my hair that sticky feeling that I hateeee. This product can be used as a leave in, moisturizer, or styler. It's very versatile.

The Intense Moisture Hair Cream Ingredients: Infused chamomile water, shea butter, organic coconut oil, organic cocoa butter, aloe barbadensis leaf, grape seed oil, castor oil, organic olive oil, (Vitamin E) tocophererol, neem oil seed, behentrimonium methosulfate, cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, sodium stearoyl lactylate, irish moss, Essential oils of thyme, clove, sage, propanediol (naturally derived preservative), ethylexyl glycerin (naturally derived preservative), potassium sorbate (food grade preservative). Fragrance

The Intense Moisture Hair Cream was great! I don't normally do twist outs or braid outs, but when receiving these products, I wanted to try them out. I used this product as my styler for my twist out and braid out and I loved it! My braid out and twist out came out soooo defined, shiny, and lasted well over a week. My hair was very soft, not stiff, and what I loved the most is, if you want that flat,  weighed down look, this will work for you, if you want fluffy, bouncy big hair, this will work for you as well. It even lays  down my baby hairs! I love this product!

The Nourishing Hair Butter Ingredients: Organic shea butter)butyrospermum parkii (mango butter) mangifera indica (Organic cocoa butter)theobroma cacao (almond oil)prunus amygdalus dulcis (Olive Oil)olea europaea (Avocado oil)persea gratissima (Castor oil seed)ricinus communis (Jojoba oil seed)simmondsia chinensis (neem oil)melia azadirachta (Vitamin E)tocopherol Rosemary, Sage, Thyme, Fragrance

The Nourishing Hair Butter is one of the best sealants I've ever come across. I always do the Loc Method, ever since I could remember. This Butter has brought my Loc Method Game to another level. It Locks in moisture sooooo well and you only need a small amount. Don't use too much or it will weigh your hair down a ton. A little truly goes a long way with this. It left my hair very smooth and my twist outs and braids outs holding up for over a week. This is an awesome hair butter.

Ther Herbal Oil Hair Growth Stimulant Ingredients: (Castor oil)ricinus communis (Organic coconut seed oil)Cocos nucifera (Almond oil)prunus amygdalus dulcis (Vitamin E)tocopherol, Msm, Cayenne Pepper, Essential oils of Orange, Rosemary, Thyme, Clove, Sage.

Now, I can't really say if the The Herbal Oil Hair Growth Stimulant helped my hair to grow because of the small bottle(which I am grateful for), but I am sure it would because of the amazing ingredients it has. The ingredients include amazing hair growth properties which can help stimulate your scalp which in turn causes hair growth. I can say that I loved using this in the Loc Method. It helped to seal in moisture before using the Intense Moisture Butter.

I am very thankful to be able to review these products for you guys and so is my hair. Thank you Ajaa' Naturals!

Review: Ms Tiara Dean Sweet Hair & Body Butters

I received these adorable Butters from Ms. Tiara Dean herself for me to review.
I received:
.Coconut Cream Pie
.Pineapple Upside Down Cake
.Butterscotch Bliss
.Chocolate Chip Cookies
.Cream Brûlée
.Cherry Almond
.Vanilla Cream Buttercream

I only used these Butters on my hands because the scents were a little too overwhelming to use on my hair. They don't smell bad, but in my opinion, they can be a little overwhelming. I did not enjoy the Cherry Almond scent at all. The other scents were tolerable, but my all time favorite was the Pineapple Upside Down Cake. As for the actual butters themselves, I actually enjoyed them. They moisturized my hands to perfection and the scents didn't linger for long. I wash my hands a lot, so these little butters came in handy. I also put a few in my purse to take with me when my hands feel a little dry. Make sure you don't put butters of any kind in your purse during those hot months. What I loved the most about these butters is that when putting it on certain dry areas on my hands, I swear it healed them within one day. That was a plus for me. I recommend Ms. Tiara Dean's Butters to those who experience dry skin and also those who love sweet, dessert scents. I'm sure children would love them as well. Thanks Ms. Tiara Dean!
