My Thoughts

Upon receiving both products, they were taped very securely around the opening so that nothing would leak out while it was being delivered. I loved that! I've experienced getting packages in the past from different companies & the products leaked out, so I highly appreciated that. 

I also was extremely excited about using this product because of my past experience with having dry/itchy scalp. On wash day, after I shampooed & deep conditioned, I sprayed some of the Scalp tonic onto my scalp and massaged it in. Immediately, I felt a difference. Not only did it sooth my scalp, but i also felt it penetrating my scalp. The only thing I didn't like about the product, was the smell, but it doesn't linger for long. When dealing with organic products, you may not care for the smell, which is fine. I'd rather have healthy hair as opposed to hair that smells like followers all the time. 

I give this product 5 Stars. Why?Because, I've been using this product for over a month and I haven't experienced any negative results. It's easy to use, and 100% Organic. How can I argue with that?

I loveeeeeee this product for my scalp & the ends of my hair. I have multiple uses for this amazing oil.

6.)Cuticle Oil(I know it says it's a hair oil, but it's Organic, which means it won't hurt putting it on your skin)

I also give this product 5 Stars! Hands Down, one of the best Organic Oils Blends I've used.

My Review

I can honestly say that I enjoyed this product. I received it 7 weeks ago, and have been using it in my regimen ever since. In the beginning, I used this product alone without any other oils mixed with it and I noticed immediate results! Hair grows at about 1.5 cemeteries or 0.5 inches per month,or about 15 cemeteries or 6 inches per year. After using that alone for about 2 weeks and already noticing results, I decided to use this in conjunction with Jamaican Black Castor oil. I poured about 10 drops into an applicator bottle and shook it very well. I applied it to my scalp every 3 days, then massaged my scalp with the pads of my fingers circulating the blood flow. Doing this not only improves circulation, it also relieves stress. Don't forget those edges giiiiiiirls! As Queen Bey says "Nefetiti edges kinky"! We gotta make sure our edges stay on fleekity fleek ladies! Once mixing this amazing concoction together, I fell in loveeeeee with the results! This oil blend has exceeded my expectations! I have yet to actually measure my hair growth but I can tell the difference by pulling my hair gently(length check) to see where my hair ends.Since using this product, my hair has grown 2 inches. I will make sure to keep you guys go up to date with my hair growth journey. 

Overall, I give this product 5 stars!

Purpose Kollection Kreme Koile Review

Hello Beauties! I'm back with another Product Review! 

Thanks to The Owner of Purpose Kollection and the popular natural hair page on Instagram Naturalrootsista, I was lucky enough to receive some of her products to review. Now I didn't expect to receive a shirt, pin, and a tote bag along with 4 full size products! I couldn't thank her enough.

When reviewing products, I use them for 4-5 weeks so I can really know if my hair likes them or not. When I receive products from the same line I also like to use them separately so I can really know how the product works. So that's just what I did with these products. 

The Kreme Koile Shampoo smells awesome! It cleansed my scalp without leaving my hair dry. I could tell the shampoo had some oils in it because I was also able to detangle my hair while washing it which I never do. The oils helped give the shampoo some slip, I usually see that in moisturizing conditioners. I loved how a little goes a long way. Only washing my hair every 2 weeks, i see myself having this shampoo for a long time. Now having such a good experience with the shampoo, I was very excited to try out the conditioner. I give this Shampoo a 5 out of 5 hands down. 

The Kreme Koilie Conditioner also has an amazing smell. You can't go wrong with a  hair product that smells good. I don't know a woman who doesn't like her hair to smell just as good as she looks. This conditioner also had some great slip. I didn't need a lot of this product which surprised me because my hair is pretty thick and I usually have to use a ton of conditioner to make me feel like my hair is receiving all of the benefits from it. I can get about 4 uses out of this conditioner, and trust me that's a lot with the hair that I'm dealing with lol. I also give this product a 5 out of 5. It may not be a deep conditioner, but I like how soft and moisturized my hair feels after I use it.

The Kreme Koile Moisturizer is my favorite out of all of the products. I sealed my hair with this butter after putting a leave in conditioner in my hair. I normally do the loc method(liquid,oil,and cream) but I didn't have to when using this. That is a hugeeeee plus for me!!! I've been doing to loc method for over 2 years and haven't fell off the band wagon. It is a very rich butter and like the other products a little goes a long way, especially for this one. I may have this jar for about a year! I give this product a 20 out of 5. I know I know, it may seem like I'm exaggerating but for me not having to do the loc method when using these products means I may finally have a staple product in my regimen. I don't have any staple products because I switch up products so often. I just always make sure to use a liquid, oil and hair butter. This product is deff a bang for your buck.

The Kreme Koilie Hand and Body Lotion gave my skin the moisture it has been needing for this dreadful summer. Living in New Jersey, we've already had 2 heat waves before it was technically "Summer Time". This lotion has a sweet smell to it which doesn't linger for long if your sensitive to smells. It melts into your skin like butter and can be a little heavy for some, but that's not a problem for me because I love heavy products for my skin. Having OCD, I wash my hands so much throughout the day and this lotion has helped my hands and skin tremendously. 

I also have to give this product a 5 out of 5 because of the moisture it gives me. I don't have to reapply often and like all the products I received from this line, a little goes a long way.

I love every product that I received from The Purpose Kollection Kreme Koile Line! I don't know what My Sista at NaturalRootSista is over there mixing up in her kitchen but she has deff got a Sista over here feeling her results and loving all the moisture that the products gave my hair and skin. Product Review:Lotus By Alesia Review

 

Lotus By Alesia sent me over two products to review. The Triple Moisture Soufflé and the Herbal Scalp Oil.

The Triple Moisture Soufflé is made with Shea,Mango and Cocoa Butter. This Soufflé not only works great for your hair but it also aids in relieving dry skin and helps treat eczema, psoriasis and dandruff. It's packed with vitamins, antioxidants and fatty acids. I used this product after co washing my hair and using a light leave in conditioner that I didn't drench my hair with. I then used the soufflé to seal in the moisture from the water and the leave in conditioner  I used. My hair felt like heaven! I didn't need to use much but it definitely sealed my hair to perfection. Now as for my skin, I wash my hands so much because I have OCD. This soufflé leaves my skin feeling silky and soft. When used on my entire body,it stays moisturized for an entire 24 hours! I give this Soufflé 5 Stars.

The Herbal Scalp Oil contains ingredients that promotes hair growth and promotes a healthy scalp. My scalp is always itchy so when seeing this I got excited! This herbal scalp oil contains Nettle,Rosemary and Macadamia. This oil smells so good; I'm always getting compliments when I'm out. Now when using this, I massaged it into my clean scalp, then running the rest that was left on my hands throughout My hair. I then took a little extra just to add to my ends. I loved how my ends felt the next day. They didn't feel dry and they looked great! My scalp on the other hand felt amazing!!

I enjoyed how moisturized my scalp felt, and how it didn't itch for a few days, which is a plus for me. My hair was also very shiny. I didn't have to re moisturize my hair until wash day. I can't give this a rating yet because I like to use my oils longer so I can really know how my hair likes it.

HAIRiette Oil Blend Review

                 HAIRiette sent me over their Kokum and Marula Oil Blend to review. If you are wondering, Kokum is an Indian Fruit and  Marula is from a West African Tree. This product is completely natural and is free of animal testing. 

I used this product for a little over a month as a sealant. After I would put my leave in conditioner in my hair, I would put about two quarter sized amounts of this oil into the palm of my hand and put it throughout my hair. After that I would rub some on my scalp. It made my hair feel pretty soft and it wasn't too thick or heavy. My hair was pretty moisturized for about 3 days but going into day 4, I noticed my hair started to feel dry and that never happens. I didn't think it was the oil at first but I tested it out for a little over a month and noticed that my hair may not like Kokum or Marula. I'm not sure what it is, but for the first 3 days my hair feels perfect. After the 3rd day, I have to wash my hair because it starts to feel hard. 

I give HAIRiette Oil Blend a 2 out of 5. The first few days were great but having to wash my hair every three days is a no go when you have a lot of hair and a life.

Fortify'd Naturals

Fortify'd Naturals sent me over their Hydration Sample Pack to review. It included, The Sage Infused Black Soap Shampoo, The Reconstructing Deep Conditioner, The Hydrating Leave In Conditioner, The Growth Enhancing Moisture Therapy, and last but not least, The Intense Hydrating Potion. These products are completely natural and are for those looking to repaire their damaged hair.

The Sage Infused Black Soap is a sulfate free shampoo geared to help hair loss and gently cleanse the scalp. The key ingredient is Sage which stops hair loss, helps improve the strength of hair and improves blood circulation in your scalp which in turn helps your hair grow. This shampoo also helps relieve scalp issues such as Ezcema and Psoriasis. When using this Shampoo I made sure to section my hair. I scrubbed my scalp with the pads of my fingers and rinsed it out letting the shampoo run down the rest of my hair. My hair didn't feel stripped after I used it and I must say, my hair felt very clean and the shampoo made my scalp feel refreshed. It also didn't leave my hair tangled like most shampoos do.

I give this Shampoo a 5 out of 5. I love that it didn't strip my hair but still left my hair feeling clean and my scalp feeling refreshed. 

The Restructing Deep Conditioner plays no games!  It's an intensely moisturizing deep conditioner. The Key ingredient is Hydrolyzed Baobab Protien. This protein is a natural alternative to silicon. That's Awesome! So those who are worried about silicones can now add this to their Curly Girl Friendly deep conditioners list. It coats the hair perfectly and Moisturizes like no other. I left it on for about an hour and detangled while it was sitting in my hair. It had a decent amount of slip, but there could of been a little more. I will not complain, because my hair was so moisturized after rinsing it out with cold water. My hair was also frizz free and my curls were poppingggg!

I give this product a 4 out of 5, only because I feel like it could of had a little bit more slip.

I then used The Hydrating Leave in Conditioner. I didn't need much of this because I'm using this as my liquid in the loc method. This made my hair feel very moisturized and I feel like if I had a full size bottle I would only need about 2 pumps of this product.

This product gets a 3 out of 5 because I feel as if I used this alone, my hair would be dry by the next day.

Then I used some of my Jamiacan Black Castor oil with Lavender from Paradise oils to seal. 

As my Cream in the Loc method, I used The Intense Hydrating Potion. Which I lovedddd! It wasn't too thick but thick enough to where I felt as if I didn't need to use any hair butter like I normally do. Once my hair dried, it was so soft and my hair lasted for about a week until I had to re moisturize.

I give this product a 5 out of 5 because the moisture level of this product was GREAT! My hair lasted an entire week without needing to be moisturized which is a plus. 

 I used The Growth Enhancing Moisture Therapy to re moisturize. I braided my hair into 6 braids and took it out the next morning. My hair felt soft and it was frizz free, which is rare because my hair is always frizzy. I washed my hair 3 days later, but I feel as if my hair would of lasted longer if I didn't feel the need to wash it so I could cleanse my scalp. When I did wash it again, I noticed I didn't have to detangle before hand like I normally do. Thanks to these products, my hair was basically tangle free.

I also give this product a 5 out of 5. It made my hair feel soft after my hair hadn't been washed in a week and my hair was frizz free.
