Review:Ecoco Beauty Cocktail Line

Okay, so I'm back with a review of one of my all time favorite product lines... Ecoco Beauty. Now I am very upset with myself because I thought I did a review on this already, which I did but I wouldn't consider THAT a true review. It was one of my first reviews on my blog and in my eyes it was horrible! To be a fav product line of mines, I should of done better, but I can admit to my wrong doings and now I'm back with an even better review. I do apologize to Ecoco Beauty and I have deleted the old review to create this new and improved one. They are an awesome company inside and out and cater to all textures which I love! I have like 3 different textures in my hair and all of their products made my multi textured curls pop! All of the products are free of Drying Alcohols, Sulfates and Parabens.

The Shampoo
Product Claims:
It claims to control frizz while smoothing and cleansing the hair.

Ingredients:
Water /Aqua / Eau, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, and Cocamide MIPA, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Euterpe Oleracea (Acai) Fruit Oil, Collagen Amino Acids, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Polysorbate 20, Fragrance (Parfum)

My Review
This Shampoo is great! It cleansed my hair without stripping it of its natural oils and it also lathered pretty well. It help control frizz and my hair felt pretty soft after washing it out. Sometimes even when using Sulfate free shampoos, I experience dryness after washing them out. I've been using this Shampoo on and off for over a year and love it. You don't need to use much so it will last you awhile even if you have a lot of hair or if your hair is very thick. It also has a nice light fragrance that doesn't linger which is great.

The Conditioner
Product Claims:
Smooths hair, helps control frizz, and provides deep hydration.

Ingredients: Water / Aqua / Eau, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Polyquaternium-37, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, PPG-1Trideceth-6, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Quaternium-82, Fragrance (Parfum), Phenyl Trimethicone, SodiumHydroxymethylglycinate,Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Euterpe Oleracea (Acai) Fruit Oil, Collagen Amino Acids, RetinylPalmitate, Ergocalciferol,Tocopheryl Acetate, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Sorbitol, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein

My Review
loveeeee this conditioner! It's so moisturizing and helps detangle my hair so well even though it doesn't have much slip. It's weird lol. I mostly use it as a leave in conditioner which makes my curls pop and provides moisture throughout the entire week! It is a very lightweight conditioner, but a little also goes a long way for me. I even had a chance to use this as a co-wash and I enjoyed that as well. This conditioner always left my hair very soft. I have even used it alone and my hair stayed moisturized and manageable. This also has a very light scent. This conditioner is a staple of mines.

The Curl N' Styling Cocktail
Product Claims:
Lightweight curling cocktail that provides a soft hold. It also has oils to nourish and protect your curls. This product is also Silicone free.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Emulsifying Wax, PVP, Glycerin, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Euterpe Oleracea (Acai) Fruit Oil, Collagen Amino Acids, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Ricinodendron Rautanenii (Mongongo) Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Carbomer, Fragrance (Parfum), Aminomethyl Propanol, Tetrasodium EDTA

My Review
I love this product to the moon and back. When I started using this, I was not using stylers at all and I was actually very skeptical before trying it. I didn't want it to make my hair feel crunchy, dry it out or weigh it down. This product did the complete opposite to my surprise. It provided moisture, there was no crunchy feeling, nor did it weigh it down. If anything, it made my hair feel better than when I just use a leave in conditioner. It made my curls bounce and it even made them pop. This product is also light weight. I can get a little heavy handed with it, but it's okay because my hair still feels and looks amazing, even when I feel as if I went overboard with how much of it I used. This Cocktail can replace your Leave in, Styler and Refresher. It works great for every style. It makes my curls pop with a wash and go and my twist outs and braid outs shine and look defined. It has a very light scent as well. This product is a huge staple of mines.

The Shine Serum
Product Claims:
A light glossing serum that provides all day shine and helps control frizz and flyaways.

Ingredients:
Dimethicone, Citrus Pardisi (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Euterpe Oleracea (Acai) Fruit Oil, Fragrance (Parfum)

My Review
I loveeee the smell of this product! It's a little stronger than the other products, but not in a bad way. It still has a light scent and won't annoy even those who are very sensitive to scented products. It doesn't linger for long. I love the shine this product gives me. I use it on first day and third day hair. It works even better for twist outs and braid outs. Adding it to your hair after using the Curl N' Styling Cocktail gives you even better results. It honestly does just what it says. It tames my frizz and helps control flyaways. I really enjoy this product as well.

Overall, The Eco Cocktail Line is Awesome! I have been using it for over a year now and I am very estatic that I was lucky enough to be able to try it and review it for you guys. Thank You Ecoco Beauty!

Review: Naturalee N' Satiable

Hey guys! I'm back with another review of course. I was lucky enough to receive another amazingggggg Luxury Spa Package from the Wonderful Naturalee N' Satiable! Now let me tell you, if you haven't read my last review about the products that she previously sent over to me, then please do. Her products are 100% natural/organic and handmade. Every single product that I have received has smelled nothing but amazing. I actually have all of the products she has sent me in a cabinet in my bedroom and I can smell the products right through the cabinet. My friends always come over and ask me if I had sprayed something or lit a candle before they came.

The package included:
.A Soy Candle
.Peppermint Bath Soak
.A Pineapple Bath Bomb
.A Blood Orange Soap Bar
.A Lemon Soap Bar
.Bath Salts
.Soapy Bubble Bath
.Body Oil
.A Sample Package including- .2 Hair and body Butters
.A Lip Balm
.Bath Salts

I will say that I have taken longer to review these products than I normally would but, because I received so many (which I am thankful for) and I want to give you guys an amazing review, it does take time to review each and every product. I do apologize for taking so long, but trust me, it was worth it. Now, I enjoyed every single one of these products just like I enjoyed everything she sent over in the previous package.

The Soy Candle is completely gone now and I loved every bit of it! It didn't have a strong scent, but that didn't bother me. I get a lot of headaches and when lighting a candle, I don't care for the ones that have a very strong scent. This was perfect for me and every time I wanted to have some me time or just relax, I would light the Soy Candle and chill out. I really appreciated her adding this into the package. I didn't expect that... Well, honestly, when receiving the packages that she sent over, I didn't know what to expect. It honestly felt like Christmas, ha-ha.

The Peppermint Bath Soak was awesomeeeee. It was so relaxing and luxurious and the scent was everything. I suffer from anxiety at times and when using this, it honestly calms me down for the entire night. It's easy for me to fall asleep and using this frequently I honestly felt has helped me in the long run. I know that may sound weird, but because of me using The Peppermint Bath Soak, it has shown me that being calm helps me function a lot better than when I worry all the time. I realized Naturalee N' Satiable's products have that effect on me.

The Pineapple Bath Bomb was... BOMB!
I loved it so much and it smelled soooo good! I love how it explodes once you drop it in. I honestly didn't want to get out of the tub. I also felt as if it actually moisturized my skin. This was also very soothing and relaxing just like all of the products that I was lucky enough to try. I was scared that it would stain my tub, but it didn't do that at all. I never used a bath bomb until I tried Naturalee  N' Satiable products and I will never go back lol.

The Blood Orange Soap Bar was one of my favorites. I loved the scent, it wasn't strong, but it was just enough. It was so rich with moisture and my skin felt invigorating after using it. It left my skin soooo soft and refreshed. I was so sad when I was done with it. It was honestly one of the best soaps I have ever used.

The Lemon Soap Bar was adorable. I used it for my hands. I wash my hands a ton and sometimes have dry skin. This soap did not dry out my hands to my surprise. If anything, it helped bring some of the moisture back in. That's what I love about the soaps that Naturalee N' Satiable makes. They are not drying, if anything they provide more moisture. You can't beat that!

The Bath Salts were a God send. I also never used bath salts until I tried these products. These babies have helped my skin, relax my body and just provided me with an amazing experience overall. I swear after using them only 2 times, my skin thanked me and so did my body. I have a bad back because of the huge breast that God gave me lol and using these bath salts at least once or twice a week has helped a ton. I get out the tub with soft skin and a relaxed body.

The Soapy Bubble Bath is exactly what it says... Soapy. I loved it! I felt like I was 4 or 5 all over again. Remember when you were in the bath tub with your favorite toys and tons of bubbles? Well it brought me back to those times. I had a huge smile on my face and didn't want to get out. The only thing I did not enjoy about it was the scent. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't enticing like all of her other scents in her products are, but the actual goodness of the product made up for that. I really enjoyed it and I am almost done with it. I swear I feel the tears welling up just talking about it lol.

The Body Oil.... I don't even know how to explain to you guys how much I love this stuff. Now, I can say the things I normally say, but it just wouldn't be enough. This stuff is beyond dope! Now you're supposed to use it when you get out the shower or bathtub to lock all of the moisture in but I used to for more than just that. I used it to moisturize my hands after washing, for my feet, I even used it on my face. It's also great for romantic body massages, but I won't get into that lol. It moisturized my skin like no other and it stays moisturized for hours. As far as the scent, it is kind of strong but not unbearable. I actually enjoy it. When using it, you do not need to wear perfume, trust me. I learned the hard way lol. I absolutely love love love this Body Oil.

The Lip Balms were great! They provide soooo much moisture to my lips, especially on those cold nights. The lip balms were honestly better than any store bought lip balms I have ever used. Luckily I still have some left that I think will last me through the winter. Thank God! I just throw it in my purse and I'm good for the day.

The Sample Hair Butters, I reviewed in my first review on the previous package. You can check that out by just scrolling down my blog. I also received a sample of more bath salts which made me so happy because you can never have enough.

I truly enjoyed every single product that I  have tried from this Company. They have really helped me health wise and have opened me up to trying new things as far as bath bombs, bath salts and different types of soaps. I just want to thank Naturalee N' Satiable for being so awesome and sending over soooo many products for me to try out and enjoy.  I cannot get over how much my body loved them and now these products are a part of my every day life. I recommend all of these products to anyone who loves catering to themselves and taking care of their body. Try these products out and they will definitely help relax your mind, body and help your inner being

Review: Eco Custard

This Custard was sent to me a while ago in a package from Ecoco Beauty themselves. I think they knew what they were doing when adding this in because I love it! Now if you know me or have been reading my blogs, you know that I loveeeee my Ecoco Beauty products.

Product Claims
A Plant protein with protecting, nourishing and moisturizing effects on hair. It gives you a flexible hold while still conditioning. It has natural oils in it such as Macadamia Oil. It's also free of alcohol which is a plus.

Ingredients
I couldn't find the exact ingredients for this one but here is the ingredients for the Eco Custard Olive oil. They are almost exactly the same.

Purified Water (Aqua), Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Emulsifying Wax NF, Glycerin, VP/DMAPA Acrylates Copolymer, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Polysorbate 80, Polyquaternium-70 (and) Dipropylene Glycol, Lanolin, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Fragrance (Parfum), Citronellol, Gerianol, Hexyl Cinnamic Aldehyde, Amyl Cinnamic Aldehyde, Hydroxycitronellal, Lilial, Lyral, Citral, Eugenol, Tetrasodium EDTA, d-Limonene, Quaternium-15, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, CI42090 Blue 1, CI19140 Yellow 5
Ingredient Attributes: moisture, no silicones

My experience.
I lovedddddd this. Now of course I wasn't surprised that I loved it. I always love Ecoco Beauty's products! It provided so much moisture to my hair and gave my curls the flexible hold it said it would. Now, if you want extremely defined curls... If you have curls like mine, it won't happen. This product is perfect for the big curly fro that I love. I don't care if my curls are extremely defined. As long as they are defined enough and still are moisturized. A lot of times, with stylers, you get very defined curls but the product will dry out your hair. Or within a day, your defined curls are now poofy curls. With this, you know what your getting. At least I did. This product was light, and watery but clinged to my hair like glue. I was also able to remoisturize during the week with it. It doesn't cause any crunchiness or flaking and can be paired with many other products. I really enjoyed this and recommend it to those who are looking for a light moisturizing product with a flexible hold.

Thanks Ecoco Beauty! I can always count on you.

(Results of me restyling my hair during the middle of the week)

Review: XOXO Sugar Cosmetics

XOXO Sugar Cosmetics was so sweet to send me these products to review. I received:
.A pretty bright wash cloth(which had XOXO Sugar Cosmetics on it)
.The Acai Berry Body Butter
3 Samples which included:
.Pink Lemonade Lip Balm
.Strawberry Lemonade Whipped Body Butter
.Melon Punch Solid Fragrance

Now, let me be honest...I did not enjoy the scent of The Acai Berry Body Butter, nor did I like the little black specs (as if it was a body scrub) that sat on my skin after rubbing it in.  I was very confused by that being that it's a body butter, not body scrub. Now it was very moisturizing but it was way too thick and took forever to rub in. The company has many body butters and I'm sure they work just fine. I just didn't enjoy this one.

As for the Samples-
The Pink Lemonade Lip Balm was nice. It soothed my lips and I enjoyed the smell of it.
The Strawberry Lemonade whipped body butter was way better than The Acai Berry. It was not as thick, and didn't have any black specs in it. It was just a regular body butter. I wish I actually had more.

The Mango Solid Fragrance was a little odd to me. For it to be a fragrance, I could barley smell the Mango and the scent didn't linger. It was kind of pointless to me.

Overall, I am a little disappointed with The Acai Berry Body Butter and The Mango Solid Fragrance. I post honest reviews for you guys and hope that I didn't offend anyone.

Review: Nurture Tea

Nurture kindly sent over The Super Detox Package for me to try out and review. It included:
.Nurture Teas' Awake Tea Blend (Loose Leaf)
.Detox Tea Blend(30 tea bags)
.Super Fiber Powder (80g)
.Luna Tea Blend-Supports a good sleep(15 bags)
.(1) Swan shaped tea steeper
.A nice size container for your tea

Now this was my first time drinking tea to help with my weight and energy levels. I will be honest, I did not experience any weight loss from the Fiber. I did love the teas as far as helping to alert me and give me energy. The energy they gave me was amazing! I actually looked forward to waking up in the morning and drinking my tea. Another downfall was that I did not enjoy the taste. I just dealt with it. My least fav was the lavender flavor. Maybe it's just me but honestly, I don't want to taste lavender. Lavender is a scent in my eyes, not a flavor for something that you are putting in your mouth. The teas also have a veryyyy strong scent. I actually enjoyed the stepper for my other teas that I've bought myself. It does aid it bringing out more flavor. I just didn't want to use it for the Nurture Tea because I thought the flavor was strong enough. As for The Luna Tea and it helping you sleep... It works wonders! This is where I love the strength of the tea because it even helped my fiancé sleep. Nothing helps her sleep lol.

Overall, The teas were good for helping me have energy, waking me up in the morning, and helping me sleep at night. The cocoa flavor fiber didn't do much of anything but make my stomach hurt:(. I also do not like cocoa flavor anything. For Those who are looking for all natural, strong teas that give you energy and help you sleep... These are the teas for you.

Review: Jonathan Product and Their Hydracurls line

I received these products from the Awesome Jonathan of Jonathan Product LLC.
Product line up-
.The HydraCurls Nourishing Shampoo
.The Hydracurls Nourishing Conditioner .The HydraCurls Leave in Conditioner
.The Hydracurls Styling Gel Cream
.The Hydracurls Sea Salt Spray.
I also received 3 products from their Dirt line which are-
.The Texturizing Dirt Paste
.Silky Dirt Styling & Define Cream
.The Dry Dirt Texture Spray

Hydracurls
I used these products for 2 months just to get the feel for them. I was a little concerned before using them being that The Styling Gel Cream and The Sea Salt Spray have drying alcohols in them.

The Shampoo did not strip my hair but was a tad watery. It also doesn't lather too well. I did experience some more tangling than normal. I recommend if you are going to use this Shampoo, make sure you prepoo before hand. After rinsing it out, to my surprise, my hair did feel cleansed.

The Conditioner was my allll time favorite! It is soooooo thick and moisturizing! It's heaven to my hair honestly. I was able to detangle my hair within 10 minutes which is amaze balls! I mainly used it as a leave in conditioner because it had such a thick consistency and worked perfect as a leave in for my wash and go.
I loved how the conditioner alone made my curls feel. The onlyyyy thing I did not like about this product is the bottle!!!! It takes forever to squeeze out and my hands get so tired:(. Other than that, this product is perfect!

The Leave In Conditioner was also moisturizing and had a thick consistency. It just wasn't as moisturizing as the rinse out conditioner that I used as a leave in. I can't say that it made my curls pop, they looked how they would if I didn't use a styler in them which isn't a problem for me because I just started using stylers. Sometimes I like big poofy hair and I don't want to use a styler or care to.

The Styling Gel Cream was okay. My curls did pop for the first 2 days.
After that, it was a lost cause.
My hair did still feel moisturized but I had to throw it up in a bun for the rest of the week. I feel as if the styling cream is more for those with wavy hair or type 3a,3b curl pattern. What is a plus about this product is, as a gel cream, it does NOT make your hair crunchy nor flake. My girls with the looser curl patterns may love this.

The Sea Salt Spray did nothing for me. It was not moisturizing nor did it add anything else to my hair. It just made my hair feel dry and sticky. I also believe that this is for those with looser curl patterns as well. I will say that it did give me some shine which I did enjoy.

Dirt
These products were okay. I took another month to use 2 of them so I can give you guys my honest review. I mostly enjoyed the Styling Cream from this line. I will say, I feel as if these products are also geared toward those with looser curl patterns. My hair is wayyyyy to curly, kinky, and koily. The Texturizing Dirt Paste and The Dry Dirt Texturizing Spray both have drying alcohols in them as well as the two from the Hydracurls line. Us curly girls MUST stay away from drying alcohols.

The Texturizing Dirt Paste just made my hair feel sticky and dry just like the Sea Salt Spray from the HydraCurls Line. I tried using this product at least 4 separate times just to see if I would have a different experience using different products under it. My results didn't change. It just caused me to have to wash my hair again. I'm sure it would work for those with type 2 curl patterns.

Silk Dirt Shine & Define Cream
Actuallyyyyyy, this product wasn't so bad. It smells sooooo good and it did define my curls. It just didn't last for the entire week. It did last about 4 days which was longer than the Hydracurls Styler Lasted me.
I even think it added more moisture than the Hydracurls Styler. It also didn't make my hair feel crunchy nor did it create flakes. I was able to get about 4 uses out of the entire bottle which was great because I have very thick hair that shrinks up at least 75%.

The Dry Dirt Texturizing Spray in my opinion is definitely NOT for curly hair. It's for those with straight hair who want to create texture. I do not straighten my hair so I gave this product to my sister who straightens her hair frequently. I am sorry that I couldn't use this product myself but I know it just would of dried my hair out. My sister on the other hand lovedddddddddddd it!

I thank Jonathan from Jonathan Product LLC for taking the time out to send over all of these products. I would repurchase the rinse out Nourishing Conditioner but the rest of the products in my opinion, would work better for those with a looser curl pattern.

Sister Taliah's Naturals

Sister Taliah's Natural sent over these two beauties for me to review.
I'm in love with both of these products.

The Patchouli Infused Raw Black Soap was just amazing!!!! I couldn't get enough of it!
Ingredients:
Aqua,Cocoa pod ashes,Plantain skin ashes,Palm Oil,and Patchouli Fragrance Oil.

This Soap can be used for your hair and as hand soap or body wash. Black soap is very versatile and its 100% natural. It can help with dry skin, acne, black heads and many more.
I used this soap for everything. It only took me a month to use the entire bottle because I used it for my face, body and hair. A little goes a long way. It was deep cleansing, moisturizing and I loved the scent. I couldn't get enough of it! I brought it with me on vacation and my Mother loved it as well. It cleared up some of my blemishes and helped with my oily skin. It's an affordable natural soap that is multipurpose... You can't beat that.

The Jamaican Black Castor Oil with Peppermint

This oil was honestly one of the best Jamaican Black Castor Oils I have ever used! This Castor Oil is amazing for your skin. I've been using it for over 2 months along with The Black Soap and my dry but also oily skin has progressed. I also have a dry itchy scalp and using this as a hot oil treatment gave me amazing results. My scalp issues cleared up within a little over a week! I also sometimes use this oil as a cuticle oil and it helped strengthen my nails. I feel this is another multipurpose product. I even experienced some hair growth from using this. I recommend this oil to any and everyone. It can help with all of your problems and even help those who are trying to thicken their eyebrows and elongate their eyelashes.
