I received Follicleanse Shampoo,Conditioner DS, and a 3 month supply of Hair Growh Vitamins from The Wonderful Follicleanse to review. I just started my journey with the Vitamins and I will keep you guys updated with my progress.
The Shampoo and Conditioner was created for those with normal-to-dry hair and scalp. It has Emu oil as one of the key ingredients and the products claim to help with moisture, hydration, dry scalp, itching and flaking.
Now as for my experience... I enjoyed these two babies a ton.
The Shampoo
Ingredients: Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Betaine, Amidex C-CM, Fision Hair Moisture Complex (Hydrolyzed Keratin, Collagen Amino Acids, Wheat Germ Oil, Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil, Linolenic Acid), Emu Oil, Glycerin, Q-Pearl, Silk Protein, Jojoba Oil, Panthenol (Vitamin B Enriched), Germall Plus, Fragrance, Tetrasodium EDTA (anti-irritant), Crothix, Citric Acid
The Shampoo was not drying at all even though it has sulfate in it. My hair didn't feel stripped after using it and it actually provided some moisture. Most shampoos that are deep cleansing like this one actually makes my hair very tangled and causes a ton of dryness. I didn't experience those problems with this. My hair felt extremely clean and it also helped soothe my scalp. I like to use a Shampoo with Sulfate in it every few months to give my hair and scalp and clean slate. Sometimes you may not understand why your products don't work anymore or your hair isn't acting the way it used to. It is because you need to wash you hair with a Sulfate shampoo and start fresh. Try it:)
The Conditioner
Ingredients: Water, BTMS-50 (vegetable-based conditioning emulsifier), Emu Oil, Jojoba Oil, Glycerin (vegetable-based), Germall Plus, Fragrance
The Conditioner was my fav. It was veryyyyy moisturizing, so moisturizing that I tried it as a leave in conditioner and I loved it even more!! I also used it as a co-wash and I felt it was one of the best conditioners to use as a co-wash. The conditioner is multi purpose and I can deff see you guys enjoying it to. I only have a little left and it's breaking my heart lol. Whether I use it as a co wash, rinse out or leave in, it makes my curls pop severely.
Follicleanse just recently sent me a different Shampoo and Conditioner that I will be reviewing soon. Stay tuned!
